La jornada 7 nos trae el conocido como «clásico» de la competición. Indudablemente el Barcelona – Real Madrid es el partido destacado de la jornada. Al partido llegan los dos equipos bastante tocados, tanto en lo deportivo como en lo anímico, pero a pesar de ello es uno de esos encuentros que acaparan todas las miradas. Será interesante comprobar cómo se traducen sobre el césped esos estados de ánimo y de juego y cómo afecta eso al resultado final.
De entre el resto de partidos que tenemos en esta jornada 7 resulta de interés un nuevo derbi autonómico entre el Elche y el Valencia, ambos equipos situados en la parte media-baja de la clasificación y que al final se ha llevado el Elche por 2 goles a 1. Y el Cádiz – Villarreal, del que hablaremos en mayor profundidad en el boletín de mañana domingo. El Villarreal está obligado a hacer cambios por las lesiones de Gerard Moreno y de Parejo. El catalán estaba siendo un hombre decisivo en ataque, y Parejo había comenzado a mandar en la medular del equipo amarillo, además con un espectacular gol en la pasada jornada, precisamente frente al Valencia, su exequipo.
Veremos qué nos depara el encuentro. Pero no todo van a ser malas noticias. Finalmente Kubo estará a disposición de Emery a pesar de haber visto las dos tarjetas amarillas durante el partido ante el Valencia. El Comité de Competición de la Federación Española de Fútbol estimó las alegaciones presentadas por el Villarreal CF en las que se podía comprobar, a través de imágenes, que la segunda de las tarjetas amarillas fue mostrada equivocadamente, ya que el jugador nipón tocó claramente el balón antes de entrar en contacto con el adversario.
